Case funding
Transparency of costs
The majority of family's whose child has sustained a brain injury have had no reason to bring a case before. It is our objective for family members to quickly understand how their child's case will be funded, and give a full transparency and assurance as to the reasons that they will not have to pay for our services.
Compensation awards are secured on our clients' behalf from insurance companies. These companies also pay the legal costs that we at Serious Law incur. The method of our cost recovery ensures that our clients receive the benefit of our entire suite of child brain injury services at no cost to them. In addition, the excellent reputation we have built within the insurance industry, results in us securing the substantial awards that our clients require to fulfill their unique requirements.
No deductions from financial awards
The legal costs paid to Serious Law by the insurance company are in addition to any awards made to children who have sustained brain injuries. There are no deductions made whatsoever from the total compensation amount awarded.
All potential cases are reviewed by a specialist child brain injury lawyer on a cost-free, and confidential basis. This process is undertaken with no commitment to use our services required whatsoever. This ensures that all potential clients can contact us for confidential advice, without the fear of commitment.
Bespoke legal expenses insurance
We protect our clients with legal expenses insurance. This is bespoke and is tailored to meet the needs of each individual case. We also utilise no win no fee agreements, which ensure that our clients have no requirement to pay the Serious Law for any work undertaken.
Our aim provide full transparency of the processes and financial awards that occur throughout your or your loved one's case. Please use the contact details at the top left of this page to discuss your situation with us.
